I was diagnosed with asthma & eczema as an infant and spent most of my childhood in the Allergist’s and ENT’s office. As a child, I wanted to be a veterinarian but unfortunately was highly allergic to most animals. When it came time to decide on a career path in college I took a leap of faith and decided to become a doctor even without having any doctors in my family.  After clinical rotations in medical school, it became clear that I was destined to be an Allergy/Asthma specialist.  While it was a long road getting there, I’ve been so blessed in my career as an Allergist that I can’t imagine doing anything else.  I’ve personally been the one in the ER room unable to breathe, the one getting allergy shots for years on end and the one having to remember to take my inhaler twice a day. This gives me a unique perspective and empathy for my patients and the struggles their families experience in managing allergic conditions.

    I’ve lived in Flower Mound since 2008 and love this community.  I am a covenant member of The Village Church and volunteer my time with CMA/Pediplace in Lewisville. I enjoy baking and spending time in the country when I’m not working. I am so excited to have the opportunity to continue serving the Flower Mound and southern Denton County area at Barnett Allergy Asthma Center.
